Family is everything
While reading this, nothing came to my surprise because I had to read this in middle school. I did find it interesting though, how they all had different ideas on what they wanted to do with the money in the beginning and how even though they lived in an all white neighborhood and no one liked them, they still stood strong together. I feel that this play gives a message to everyone to stay true to what they believe in because after awhile others comments won't mean anything. This play shows the hard times that many had to overcome and it also shows the good that can come out of the struggles that some may have to deal with and that no matter what you will always have family to help you get through the tough times.
I agree that the play shows the importance of family and that although they were faced with financial burdens they remained together to support each other.
ReplyDeleteIt would have been interesting to see if all of the people in the family got there own way. I think many of these problems are still happening today.
